Dr Emily Meyer

Dr Emily Meyer graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2010 where she remains a Clinical Lecturer.  She completed her Advanced Training in Endocrinology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2017. During her specialist training she was a Chief Medical Resident at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in 2016. She is completing her PhD on the regulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis during inflammation and critical illness at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and SA Pathology, and has been awarded a DAWES research stipend. She consults on a wide range of endocrine conditions with particular interest in pituitary, adrenal and thyroid disorders, drug induced endocrinopathies and diabetes.
