Dr Vasant Shenoy (MBBS, MD, FRACP)

Dr. Vasant Shenoy graduated from the prestigious University of Mumbai (Grant Medical College) in 2000. He undertook physician training in India qualifying as a general physician and worked in Endocrinology spheres before moving to Australia in 2006. He completed further physician training at various Sydney hospitals and Endocrinology training in Brisbane and Darwin gaining Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2011. He has since completed additional training in Obstetric (pregnancy) Medicine as well as formal qualifications in Medical Education. He has over 10 years of clinical experience as a Senior Staff Endocrinologist and has also been Director of Physician Education at the Townsville University Hospital and Associate Professor at James Cook University, before moving to Adelaide. He continues to serve on various committees including being a National Examiner for the RACP.
